we do: maria&brett

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful couple, Maria and Brett. It was a small wedding consisting of only close family and friends. The ceremony was held in a family member's wonderful backyard under an artisan alter of driftwood built by the groom's sister and brother-n-law. The vibe the entire night was very casual and loving, just a simple celebration of two people's love for each other. I couldn't be more thrilled to have photographed this occasion. Much love to you two!

Wear: Latest Vintage Finds

A few weekends ago, Lindsey of Makers Workshop and I found some amazing pieces at LSU's annual vintage clothes closet sale. So excited to wear these beautiful wool sweaters! And yes, that is a leather pencil skirt in a light shade of lavender.

movin&shakin

In a little over a month, we will be packing up our dog and our ridiculous amount of possessions and moving to mid-city New Orleans. We have both been uptown residents since we moved to this great city, but we are excited and ready for the change. Plus, my favorite coffee shop, Fairgrinds, is super close. Moving is not fun and it can be pretty awful for a pack rat like myself. BUT, what is fun is floorplanning, painting, decorating, arranging, and rearranging. The best part of moving to a new home is the endless possibilities. My brain is pretty overloaded with ideas and I can't wait to get in and wallpaper everything! Here are a few I'm pretty obsessed with.

meet&greet

My name is Sharime Kayla Jobe. I currently work as a Visual Merchandiser at a lovely little shop called Anthropologie. In my "spare time",  I enjoy snapping photos, making dresses, and collecting odd things to go in my home.  My whole life I have been on one single mission, to make things pretty.  Some people were born to fight crime, some are wonderful surgeons, I was born to bring in wildflowers and wrap the world in lace.  I hope you have something in your life that makes you as happy as moss makes me.
